I hope this was intended for all the garbage that was thrown in the direction of the cincinnati football team. I was surprised at all the BPer"s who are quite known that were posting the trash that was out there. Its bad enough that we have to read that but we have to remember that these were young kids who come from fine Ohio families and playing thier best for a team that thier coach decided to flee to Notre Dame. That sure had to take the wind out of thier sails. Alot of us Buckeye Nation people knew quite well that Ohio State is a much better prepared football team and Cincinnati is trying there damndest to keep up with Ohio State. Once again i was really surprised at some OHio State fans for the trash talking against them. I thought we had more class than that.

I'd say that 'trash' posted here has been pretty tame compared to the 'trash' those same UC fans brought to this forum and numerous others.

I understand your point about the kids...but I never heard any tOSU players trashing Cincinnati on TV or in the news.

Point taken but your over-dramatization of the situation is obvious.

Living here in Portland, I will say that the Ducks fans I encountered yesterday were mostly gracious, and I intend to stay the same way. Most people just seemed shocked, they didn't score in the second half, they couldn't just run the ball at will and our secondary was better than expected.

Meaning, they did what I did during the 2006 season, and bought into the hype. Which tends to happen to everyone, but the truth is, you give a team a few weeks and a lot of motivation, and amazing things can happen.

Ducks fans, you were fun, thank you for the congratulations yesterday, and I would return the same, though you may not have won the Rose Bowl, you toppled USC from their run for a year and hopefully your fans loved the southern California weather, because I know I miss that :)
