Why didn’t he just kill Pharaoh instead of everyone’s first born son?

I respect everyone’s right to their faith but the more they talk about it the less I respect them. I’m rooting for CJ but whenever I hear him speak I get the impression that he’s not the sharpest knife in the drawer and all the God talk doesn’t help. At all.
