For a multitude of sad reasons I need to purchase a refridgerator online sight unseen. Does anyone have a french door style refridgerator? If so what do you think of them? Also, does anyone have any brand recommendations? I'm looking to spend between 1 and 2 thousand. Below is the one I'm thinking about. Any help would be appreciated.

I've got one of these. It is a fridge and keeps things cold. Very nice to have the extra auto ice maker in the freezer. It came with our house, so the first night we were in our house we heard a *clunk* sound and we sat up in bed like WTF. It was the ice dropping down into the freezer portion. So now we have to have some type of noise in the bed room so we don't think someone is breaking into the house when the fridge is making ice. Other than that it's a good fridge and like the french door style. FYI we don't have much frozen food so we don't get in the freezer too often.

We've got a Kenmore, which is actually an LG that Sears re-branded.

It's got french doors, and I really like it. The only downside is that the "meat" drawer goes across the entire bottom of the fridge, so my wife has to open both doors to make me a sammich.

Oh, and it didn't come with a french maid outfit for the missus either. But those are just minor flaws

Same here looking for one because wifey and I are building a house and its scheduled to be completed in Feb

My dad & his wife have a 2 door/2 drawer model that they really like. The top drawer can be set up as either a freezer or a refrigerator. That extra drawer seems to be their favorite feature.

I have a commercial two door refrigerator & a separate chest style deep freeze that I picked up from a restaurant supply company that was going out of business. They would take some getting used to for most people.
