Why get rid of a good man like Coach Shurmur? He's generous and a pillar of the Cleveland Community. Plus, it would do nothing but hurt Weeden's and Richardson's confidence if a new coach and OC was brought in. Best plan is to give him a two year extension.

When the defense sells out on the run, do you really expect the RB to have a big game?

Is Trent Richardson a horrible RB? 11 carries for 28 yards with a long of 14.

Where are you getting your stats? Morris scored two TDs against the Browns and had a long of 11. (Which he would have had a longer had the end zone not gotten in the way)

One of his TDs was 2 minutes into the 3rd quarter. His long of 11 was around 8 minutes left in the 3rd. :p

I think Richardson is a very good back, being held back by an incompetent team. When there is no threat of passing from an abysmal quarterback (4th worst in the league in rating, 3 more picks than TDs), they're going to stop the run.

I really have no skin in caring about the Browns, but Haslam needs to fire Shurmur and really consider firing whoever thought Weeden was a good idea.

There's only 9 RBs with better YPC than Alfred Morris. 3 of them have under 800 yards, and 1 of them is Morris' QB. (And another is Cam Newton)
