Reds tidbits 2015 (morgue)

yeah, I know ineptitude and the Reds front office are pretty much thoughts that occur concurrently, but why do they wait until the day before roster expansion to DL Boesch? I know it doesn't really matter -- because they suck -- but playing a position player down with a deep ton of pitchers in the bullpen because of all the rookie starters when you could have just DL'd a non-starter a day or two after the injury?

Walt has punted wins by the dozens by not making roster moves on time. Joey Votto could have his nuts bit off by a Laplander and the club would list him day-to-day for two weeks before placing him on the 15 day DL.

I know. That was part of what I was talking about with the ineptitude. I can see some logic in it when it's Votto; One of the best players out for a while might mean a decrease in ticket sales. A shitty reason, but somewhat logical. Boesch, though? Most fans probably don't even know he's on the team. Hell, I don't even know if I'm spelling his name right and I don't care to look it up even.

Yes it is, but I have a very strong suspicion these ass-clowns will go on a tear over the next couple of weeks and then Walt will take that as proof that they are a journeyman left-fielder (or Suarez conversion to LF) away from being a world champion of the world team!

Dude, they just need a re-boot, not an overhaul. Lots of teams on the verge of greatness are running out a rookie starting pitcher every night. Just wait. You'll see.

What are the odds that they fire everyone in the front office?
