Reds Tidbits (2012 Season)

How far away is Masset from returning? His 15-day DL stay (from late April IIRC) should be about up. Did his situation change?

He has been on the DL since the start of the season, so the time on the DL has been up for a while. IIRC he was supposed to start throwing about now, yet I have not seen an update.

I was just looking at the CBS power rankings. This is their blurb next to the Reds....

Aroldis Chapman's numbers are simply staggering. Five hits, four walks, zero runs and 25 strikeouts in 14 2/3 innings? That is video-game absurdity. Good thing he's limited to the eighth inning. You would hate to use a guy that talented more than sparingly.

They simply don't understand the genius of Dusty Baker.

He said in the post game " I hate to pull the closer..." and I almost puked.

How can someone this stupid make that kind of money?

I can hardly wait for the Duhsty moments coming up. The Reds have off today and then go on a stretch of 20 games in 20 days. To top it off its a brutal stretch with both NY teams, ATL and WAS on there. Yikes. I'd take .500 out of this next month.

I don't usually pay much attention to this type of thing but Mesoraco is pissing me off behind the plate. He needs to quit fucking with his glove and get his target up there for the pitcher to focus on it. Definitely needs to help his pitcher out more, especially when Leake is struggling the way he is.

Ludwick looks like Cameron Frye. About as useful too.

Perfect time to get Chapman ready to start.

Let him come in right now and pitch a couple innings and start stretching him out.

Leake is terrible. His last start was not even that good and was an aberration.

Come on, yank him!
