and if they somehow manage to pull it out of their tight assholes..they fucked themselves for the NLCS because Cueto can't pitch at all if he gets healthy

Latos is a fine option. He didn't throw that much 3 days ago or the 3 days before that.

The problem is Latos can't hit.

Yeah but you only get him for 4-5 innings tops and then you are stuck with fucking Arroyo for game 5.

It doesn't matter, they won't score enough for us to worry about who was pitching.

Latos should be able to give them 6. Then the pen should still be fine.

They are facing Barry Zito. He has a 6.10 career e.ra at GABP.

They'll be fine. They'll win tomorrow and Cueto will pitch game 3 of the NLCS.

Simple.

I still blame it on Duhsty. You have the NLROY sitting on the goddamn bench and the oldest guy in the national league starting every day. Defensive replacement maybe. Spot start at the very most. THAT is Rolen's fucking role you toothpick eating sumbitch. Rolen is not the MVP level player he was 7 years ago. Fucksty!!!!


Hats off to Homer Bailey and the pitching staff. You should all be sleeping quietly in your beds tonight waiting on Sunday to move on in these playoffs.

As someone who has rarely watched baseball in recent years until this seasons Reds team caught my interest - I want to give a shout out to the Amish.

Good to see that so many of Amish players are finally getting an opportunity to strut their stuff.

Since my Braves are out, I've been enjoying watching the Reds and all the tension of a local playoff race.

My $.02 is this: I would hope that the Reds can get it done tonight, because I absolutely would not want to face a pissed off/embarassed Matt Cain in Game 5.
