Big win. I am still not a fan of Leake at all. He was lucky all over the place today, yet that is baseball. This can keep the Cards at bay until the Reds get back to beating on the bad teams.

If they are also one of the top 2 records, yes. This will be the only year where that will be true. They didn't want to change the WS schedule, so in order to add the wild card play in they needed to eliminate a travel day from the division series. Next year will be back to 2-2-1.

Votto to go to Dayton for a rehab assignment, then possibly to rejoin the Reds for a rehab assignment against the Astros.

Thanks. Trying to plan a trip + just wanted to make sure I understood what was going on this year.

I sincerely apologize to all Reds fans for the jinx I have placed on them by discussing playoff scenarios and planning a trip around them in August.

Masset had another setback and looks to not be on the 40 man roster if he can even pitch again this year. Looks like a shoulder and he has to have an MRI.

If Hoover can keep up his pace from last night, we are golden. It still wouldn't hurt to have one more guy in there though.
