And I apologize in advance for the double-headed prison-rape the Reds will get on Saturday as I will be in attendance for both sexual assaults by the Cubs.

I'll be at both games too. I've always wanted to go to a doubleheader. Actually, that was my whole reason for going to the park last night - to cash in my vouchers for Saturday's games. I figured if I'm gonna go downtown after work, park, walk and all that shit I might as well watch some baseball too.

Also, I want to apologize for the third knee surgery I have doomed Joey Votto to. I bought his replica jersey. At least I didn't spring for the authentic - that would have been a guaranteed career ender.

I used to routinely go to doubleheaders at Riverfront when the Big Red Machine was in operation. This was when they actually scheduled them and you only had to buy one ticket.

The good old days.
