renteria goes 0-4 batting 2nd today. Id love to see the stats for our #2 hitters this year. Has to be a good laugh
.250 .338 .390 .728

BP has 73ABs there. Actually, other than the Shortstops, the 2-hole has been pretty solid ( small sample size OPSs of: .881 BP, .833 CH, .933 MC, 1.004 JB, .477 ER, and .180 PJ).

can anyone actually provide any type of rational reasoniong for continuing to play gomes? as far as I can tell he had 1 good month LAST MAY!!

all I got is the old line of thought-anyone who hits in front of a great hitter is going to see more good pitches to hit.

It isn't completely without merit but lately me thinks teh Dusty is pushing it.

Is there something I'm missing as to why Heisey can't get a start? I haven't heard anything about an injury. Even though Lewis bats lefty, the gap in experience and talent should give Heisey the nod regardless of who's pitching. I've seen him play every bit as good as Bruce and Stubbs at their best (other than Bruce's power), and yet he seems to be the #5 option. Did he fuck somebody's mom?

While I'm seeking answers, what does TOR stand for? It took me several posts to figure out posters weren't saying we should raid the Bluejay's pitching staff.
