Along those lines, I think running is a bad idea against this team because it puts the play in the hands of one of their superior defensive players. At least on a double play ball you're making their lesser defenders attempt to make the play.

BTW...not sure it has been mentioned, but Hanigan is behind the plate instead of Hernandez. Probably not a coincidence it's been the best start in a game for Volquez.

I was thinking that earlier but I wasnt sure why this was happening. Havent really seen much of Hernandez in the last week.

The Spanish-speaking pitchers are going to have to get used to working with somebody other than Hernandez. He won't be here next season.

I think it's because Hanigan was due to catch LeCure tonight. Hernandez caught Friday when Volquez was originally scheduled to pitch.
