Seems I put the whammy on his ass, SF pitcher faces two hitters (well one and Patterson) then leaves with an injury. Never bad to get to the other teams pen in the 1st inning I guess.

Gotta feel bad for Aaron Harang. He's only got a 2.76 ERA and only has a 1-3 record to show for it. Meanwhile the Reds have put up 10 runs so far tonight for Matt Belisle and put up 12 runs in support of Josh Fogg a few weeks ago.

This is one of the things that can make Edwin Encarnacion so frustrating. He can make some of the most obscene throwing errors out there, but then sometimes he goes out of his mind and makes some Brooks Robinson-esque play like the one he just made in the bottom of the 8th. I really think the guy could be a plus defender if he could just cut down on the throwing errors.
