I made a vow last year that I would not ever go to fireworks again, until I have kids.

It sucks, to be short.

Agreed. Fireworks are overrated sources of entertainment targetted at the stupider levels of our society. They're entertaining for kids, mouth-breathing hillbillies, drunken dumbasses, and slow adults (sometimes those descriptions kinda overlap). If you want to see something really cool try fiery crashes...

We were going to go, but I guess the traffic is nuts! Where can you watch it on tv at?

I think it will be on channel 4.

Welcome to Red, White and BOOM!

Took the wife to see the Maumee/Perrysburg fireworks tonight and it was pretty good. A nice start to the holiday celebration. I think every one for ten miles around was there so traffic leaving was the pits.
The show was still worth it. They had about 60% new designs and 40 old so that was cool. Especially since the old stuff was the best of earlier years.
Sometimes I could care less if I go and others it fits right in and that was this year.
Besides the wife said No Boom Boom... No boom Boom.

My brother and his best friend bought over $2000 in fireworks and his church group had a nice fire in the sky show. Really had a good time with all the people there and I was George Foreman running the grill, cookout was x-cellent and the fireworks was really a nice display.
