Folks, we are heading into what we at BP consider "The Crazy Season" We've already seen an increase in warnings/infractions...and that needs to stop so everyone can enjoy what has come to be known as one of the best recruiting forums on the net.

Each recruit has his own thread...and he is the sole topic for that thread.

Please make sure you link articles/updates and summarize only. Under no circumstance can we permit copy/paste of direct quotes. Even free articles should be linked so the site can get their hits.

Also, if you find any info or 'nuggets' on a premium board, you must have permission to post and need to credit that board or Insider...

Please help us out by following the basic recruiting forum rules

Click here for the full Recruiting Forum Rules.

Grazie.

If it's a legitimate news source, like Jeff Svoboda from BSB, that is just another media for professional publishing. Folks shared his tweets from the rose bowl in the game thread.

We've never allowed the facebook, myspace, twitter nonsense because it is a very illegitimate source of news. Identities are often fake, shenanigans run amok (particularly from kids), and there is no accountability for the accuracy of the news.

Clarification: even if Jeff is re-tweeting something we don't allow, the original tweet still means it's not allowed here.

Perhaps all tweets are disallowed, but Svoboda sharing tidbits from media day, a game or a recruiting interview (of his own) is not why this post was made. Raw, unprofessional tweets from kids are.

Then why is there a thread for tweets? And the first post is a tweet from an OSU player and the tweet has bad language on top of that.

There isn't...there was a split thread with a sarcastic title from the first time you posted a 'tweet' in the recruiting forum.

It has since been removed completely.
