really cant see anywhere else to introduce myself

hey guys, from what ive seen on forums it is polite to say hi so ... hi!
im grant and my son is on the brink of high school football, im so scared, never thought of it from a parents perspective when i was playing it and now petrified something is going to happen to him.
i am also not at all up to date with safety equipment etc these days so i would like to know more on that...
keep an eye out for me

Hello. If you have any specific questions, there's a few of us on here who coach (and teach) and would be more than happy to answer your queries.

Best piece of advice I can give is for your son to play three sports a year. Staying in shape makes a big difference-lineman whose feet stop near piles often get rolled up on. Flexible people don't get injured as much either, I'm a big supporter of stretching all year long for my players. As I scan through my list of players that were injured this year, most of them sit on their asses two seasons a year, or lift and play football.
