Frank the Tank lives!! Shoot, if he wants to pay for it, good for him. He's not harming anyone w/ his decision, and if he likes it, so be it. I know when I graduated from OSU in 4 years, I was definitely not ready-mindset wise- for any kind of a real job, and didn't really want one. Two and half years of grad school cured that problem, and I wanted to get a real job-teaching- in a big way by the time I was done w/ grad school.
I took a couple of correspondence courses from Drake University last year, and it was kind of cool getting an A in them, and reading the instructors feedback, it brought back memories.

Everyone who went to college has to known someone who seemed to be in school forever. One of my friends in undergrad was 26 or 27 when he graduated. He went to college the whole time after high school except for one year. He just kept changing majors until he figured out what he wanted to do.

My boss knew a guy in college who had literally been in school for three decades. The guy started in like 1969 and finally graduated in the early 80's.
