Just a feeling, and I know he said that he wasn't doing anything until after his Senior year, but I think this kid is gonna commit in the near future.

Edit: No, actually it looks like I'm wrong and that OSU staff told him to wait until his grades are in order for sure to pull the trigger. But it's definitely going to be us.

Honestly I'm not that impressed by the film I've seen, but that's just me. I've heard a lot of people who really really like Roderick.

I finally saw some film of him. Why don't you like this guy? He shows good size, great bursts and uncanny lateral movement for his size. He rarely has to lower his shoulder but I have no doubt a guy of his size can do it. I'm excited to see how his recruiting plays out and I hope we come out on top.

I am not allowed to word it like I want to so:

I talked to an important person who said Smith could be a "buckeye by sunday"...(or within the week after the spring game)

Thats all I got. Hopefully that someone is right!

Edit1: I guess this should be in the rumor mill. My bad. :(

I just saw the short AMP clip, but he seems to have shifty feet. He's not quite the straight ahead runner than Hyde is, but (to my amateur eye) he seems to get to the second level quickly then make a single move. I like a guy that doesn't waste steps in the backfield.
