RB Quinshon Judkins (National Champion)

I think this guy was that extra weapon, with a slightly different skill set that just made the offense nearly unstoppable in the playoffs.

Two elite, elite running backs that complemented each others games on top of helping keep each other fresh.

I hope he stays.

Yea, with a new QB next year, and a new set of tackles, Q would be a huge piece.

I think that there were a few things that happened this year — outside the lines — that may have become reference material for teams looking to win a national championship with a 12 or more team playoff (read: long ass season). Things that we’ve (potentially) learned:
1) Experience matters — getting older guys to come back for years 4-5 is critical. The last few teams to have won have had very experienced teams.
2) Depth matters — A long ass season will require depth to stave off physical injury and exhaustion. Depth also begets depth which is a good thing for also creating experience (see above).
3) Physical toll of the season matters — And this is where I think Q coming in and how the staff managed reps is important. It was obvious that Tre and Q were in mid-season form at the end of the run, that’s because it was their normal mid-season. I hope that the staff pays attention to this because ‘job sharing’ by bringing in guys from the portal to round out a position group as well as creating depth by getting pups on the field early are both good ways to help accomplish the goal of reducing the toll on the bodies.

I too hope Q comes back. It could be the case for him, as a RB, the NIL retention money could make sense for him to really consider. It pushes out a year to get off of the rook contract and all… but that’s all for him to consider. Right now, my money is even for him staying.

I want him back but he shouldn't come back
I follow the NFL theory... a RB only has so many hits in his life... and that life includes college
I'm not sure how much improvement he would make in college
and in his NFL interviews they ask "so what did you do in college"
respond "I scored THREE times in the National Championship game" and drop the mike on the floor
BOOM
