vol message board reaction thread
i was going to link the thread from the time of the commitment, but i found the most recent posts to be more entertaining.
When Ohio State destroys those teams, it's used as evidence of how weak the Big 10 is. Go figure....The "BUTCH HAS DESTROYED EVERY BIG 10 TEAM HES FACED IN A BOWL GAME " one is my favorite (as "evidence" that Tennessee would dominate the B1G)
Northwestern, Nebraska and Iowa......congrats on that massive accomplishment.

If it wasn't for the brutal SEC East, the Vols would be back-to-back-to-back national champions
Ha ha wah wah wah we're in the SEspinC and we're so awesome at winning NCs in September.....wah wah wah......
Welcome Master! Great to have you as part of the Buckeye Family!

I have to say, I found this one entertaining:

teague's 4.31 times in the 40 are questionable. they were hand-timed.
but...
teague measured a 130" broad jump at the bama camp. there were 28 running backs whose broad jumps were measured in the 2017 nfl combine. just 1 player had a better broad jump than teague.
teague measured a 40.5" vertical at the bama camp and a 42" at osu's. there were 30 running backs whose verticals were measured. how many players had a better vertical than teague? 0.

I remember a kid from Missouri a few years ago who had the same 'knock' against him for the same thing. Zeke turned out ok.Big time pick up! Elite athlete, as everyone knows by now. People try to slight him for the level of competition Blackman HS plays, but most of the teams they played against ranged from 1000-100 nationally, which is not bad at all. You can go on the Blackman Maxpreps page and watch him against top 100 competition, and he's still ripping off great runs. For the sake of comparison, his YPC, YPG, TDs, and competition level were all incredibly similar to Zamir White's last year. This kid can flat out ball. As I said a couple months ago:
Welcome to the Buckeye family, MT33!!!
I guess the whole NFL first round draft pick thing is lost on that fan base?vol message board reaction thread

Glad he was willing to work for the offer and put his talent, work ethic, and interest in the Buckeyes on display. Would be ecstatic to see him make my initial reaction to his film look baseless.I am a bit reluctant to say this because it could be taken as a negative criticism, but it isn't. As a former tailback (with far less natural ability than Mr. Teague), I understand why the coaches want to see him move in person. I'm assuming that they want to determine whether or not there is a level of wiggle/shiftiness that isn't showing up on film for any number of reasons. When I look at his film, I am reminded of Maurice Hall, a former Buckeye from Columbus Whetstone who, IIRC, was a 3- or 4-star recruit. Not saying he doesn't have it; just saying I understand why they want to visit him.
