As a lifelong Packers fan who used to play Tecmo Super Bowl for hours on end seeing Bob Nelson's name on BP just made my night!

Some people don't know about the awesomeness of Bob Nelson in that game. For those of you who don't know:


It was pretty easy to run him between the center and guard, and get the QB on most plays.

At the time, we didn't know anything about him. We figured he was some nobody who happened to be awesome for one year and we all forgot about him. But he really was some nobody. 4 seasons - 3 with Green Bay and one with Tampa. Before that, he played in the USFL. In those 4 years, he got 3 sacks. I can't find his stats on tackles or TFL.
