@Dawn Elliott can we expect this when he sees the president?

The greatest rushing season I've ever witnessed by a Buckeye RB. I was too young for Archie and Keith. Eddie put up bigger numbers and all the other guys did it in fewer games. Zeke did it on the biggest stage though, and saved his best for last. I remember Eddie dropping over 300 on Illinois, then getting contained against M*ch*g*n and in the Citrus Bowl. Zeke put M*ch*g*n on ice, then had three straight career days to carry his team to a title. It's not just about the numbers, it's about the achievement.

I remember some backs from the past that frustrated people by juking around too much, waiting for a path to open. I'm not sure this kid cares if there's a path or not. He may not even be fully aware that those other guys on the field are there to stop him. It seems more like the second he touches the football, it sets off some Prime Directive in his skull: ENDZONE NOW, MOVE! Man, is it fun to watch.

Exactly what I was thinking (ok, not exact).

I was worried about who would take on Carlos Hyde's badass ability to simply ignore defenders and look for destruction on his path to the endzone every time he touched the ball.

Zeke has done that and more. Guy is on a mission every time he steps on the field. Legend made and there's still more to add. Amazing.

Buried in conference anonymity behind the pre-season praise around Gordon & Abdullah (Credit to them too, great backs) and eventually Coleman as well, he showed the whole nation what we saw all season long. I'm just happy he's getting the recognition he deserves as being an elite player. I'm just still irked it took until the past three games for anyone nationally to notice. Yeah, the QB situation was real talking point, but he delivered on every occasion. We all saw the potential last season, so this is just confirmation that we have another legendary back to call our own.

Also, lets give some just due to the men up front blocking for him & I mean MEN. Yeah, he made the explosive moves, cuts, gains & scores, but lets not forget the phenomenal job the O-Line did as well. I was just in awe of some of the avenues he was given, especially when he was getting to the secondary level untouched without much fuss.
