I do not choose to discuss it
You see it all the time on 'law and order: svu' (and also in real life)- an accuser has their personal life exposed and questioned in embarrassing and hurtful ways to undermine their credibility. It is definitely a shame when an organization tries to show someone's past actions gives serious doubts on their credibility...and I mean TONS of past actions, so clearly this is sarcasm font. Does it mean she is lying about this specific instance? No. You can lie about 9 things and the 10th could be true. But if people try to say it is not relevant and try to argue legalities, there is a good chance this type of evidence would come in to impeach her testimony and rightfully so. And all of the history leading up to the alleged event is certainly relevant in my mind. Frankly, I would consider counterclaims or a separate lawsuit against her if it is untrue and if this goes any further, as his reputation has clearly been harmed by this and he stands to lose tangible loss.
We still do not have any evidence about the specifics of this case to make a conclusion it seems...but there is one thing for sure, Zeke should have stayed the hell away from this psychopath in the first place. But that is all said and done, and hopefully he avoids people like this in the future. He does need some sort of suspension or penalty, it just remains to be seen to what extent if this turns out to be bogus.
It underscores why women are reluctant to come forward to tell their stories, which is a serious issue that makes it more difficult to prosecute sexual assault and domestic violence and hold people accountable.
This is different in that what is being exposed about the accuser is her specific threats to destroy the accused life, which discredits her claims in a different way (there have probably been several SVU episodes about that too, if there hasn't been there will be soon).
It's just a bad, messy situation all around.
