And all of the history leading up to the alleged event is certainly relevant in my mind. Frankly, I would consider counterclaims or a separate lawsuit against her if it is untrue and if this goes any further, as his reputation has clearly been harmed by this and he stands to lose tangible loss.

We still do not have any evidence about the specifics of this case to make a conclusion it seems...but there is one thing for sure, Zeke should have stayed the hell away from this psychopath in the first place. But that is all said and done, and hopefully he avoids people like this in the future. He does need some sort of suspension or penalty, it just remains to be seen to what extent if this turns out to be bogus.

You see it all the time on 'law and order: svu' (and also in real life)- an accuser has their personal life exposed and questioned in embarrassing and hurtful ways to undermine their credibility.

It underscores why women are reluctant to come forward to tell their stories, which is a serious issue that makes it more difficult to prosecute sexual assault and domestic violence and hold people accountable.

This is different in that what is being exposed about the accuser is her specific threats to destroy the accused life, which discredits her claims in a different way (there have probably been several SVU episodes about that too, if there hasn't been there will be soon).

It's just a bad, messy situation all around.

Again, Zeke should use better judgement picking who he decides to hang around and this could be avoided. Zeke is sleeping in the bed he has made for himself unfortunately even if he didnt get physical with this nut box.

Hopefully he gets his head on straight and from afar it appears he is just immature and has a sense of entitlement.

I believe the thing discrediting her claim is that she and her unnamed text friend don't seem to be all that bright.

If the nflpa was saying that she was a stripper or slut I'd call it terrible form. But pointing out all the things that the NFL ignored that was considered exculpatory evidence by law enforcement is fair game.

Exactly, that is where I was getting at in terms of that sort of evidence likely being admissible. This is not slut-shaming or calling her crazy, it is pointing out direct motive to make a false claim based upon past statements and action, and gives serious doubts as to her credibility on this specific incident.

When we got out to that quick 14-0 lead, I thought it was a preview of annihilation for the rest of the season. Definitely didn't foresee the worst offense of the Meyer era

I thought the same thing then and then again watching the replay. We had a pretty insane amount of playmaking talent on the field in that game and in that season. When it was clicking it was awesome and seemingly not that complicated to get to click. But it didn't click for like 75% of the year.

I'm pretty sure zeke also only had like 12 carries that game too. Honestly I can't even describe how I felt when I knew we got Tim Beck.

Can't believe he's still in D1 let alone at Texas. Sure he can recruit but Texas ain't going anywhere until that dude is gone.

Warriner just had no business being a coordinator but at least he's a great position coach. Tim Beck gives you literally nothing

I think it would be hilarious to see the Cowboy players all take a knee and refuse to take the field in the first game. The absurdity of the NFL and the arbitrator are unparalleled in this case. I will go back to my post from what I heard on the DP show that the NFL wants to see Zeke be contrite. Nothing smacks more of the NFL saying we're in control then what is happening here...

But the reality of the case is she was in a relationship with him, had bruises, and claimed he caused them. Those factors alone make the burden squarely on Zeke to come forth with some kind of proof that he was not the cause (hard to have that kind of evidence, obviously), otherwise he loses in the NFL system. I don't think there was any more evidence than what the police had. I am thinking the accuser doesn't need to have any credibility in the NFL world.
