does anyone have a picture, or know where i can find one, of Eddie stiff-arming ray-ray to the ground in last year's playoff game? i went to the titans board on the insiders, but didn't even bother posting because that board is DEAD.

Any chance Eddie comes back toOSU to coach RBs

Was there ever any speculation that Coach Tressel hired his brother Dick to coach the RBS because he was waiting on Eddie, knowing his career was winding down. After all it would be easier to hire his brother as a stop gap for 1-2 yrs and then graciously step aside than to hire a young up-and-comer whose tenure might not sinc up so well with eddies NFL retirement.

Eddie may have no interest in coaching, but I can't think of a more well liked, and greater advocate/ recruitung tool than #27

I doubt it. He is married to an R n' B diva from L.A., and is also the owner of a landscape design firm. I don't think he (or his wife) is really interested in the lifestyle of a coaches family-not that I blame them, given their careers.

you know what? let's just turn this into the official eddie george is awesome picture thread, in celebration of his remarkable streak coming to a close. in my opinion, eddie coming into the league and immediately starting every game for 8 years, being an incredibly tough workhorse for the titans, is a thousand times more impressive than cal ripken sitting on his ass, scratching his balls, and going 1 for 4. and yet somehow ripken is some kind of a national hero, while everyone makes fun of eddie for not being what he used to be.

Eddie George is one tough son of a bitch. What a great Buckeye hero. He is no longer a great back, but I don't know of ANY guy (except for jamal lewis) who would have the toughness and intensity to stiff-arm RAY FUCKING LEWIS to the ground by picking him up and dropping him, in order to convert a key first down late in a tight playoff game on the road.

Eddie George is inspiring.

Running Backs Coach Pepe Pearson
Pepe Pearson

Pepe' Pearson, who was a standout tailback for Ohio State University from 1994 through 1998 and helped the Buckeyes to four bowl games including a 1996 Rose Bowl victory, is in his first year at Ohio Dominican University and will serve as the team's running backs coach after spending last fall at St. Charles Preparatory School.

A four-year letterwinner at Ohio State, Pearson gained 1,486 yards and had 17 touchdowns on 299 carries his junior year and was selected All-Big Ten and team MVP. He is the Buckeye's fifth all-time leading rusher in OSU history while playing under former head coach John Cooper. After completing his college career, Pearson played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers. He also played in the NFL European League where he won a 2001 World Bowl Championship scoring the game winning touchdown.

A 1998 graduate of The Ohio State University majoring in Sociology, Pearson was a four-year starter and high school All-American at Euclid High School in Cleveland OH.

Pearson, and his wife, Mary, are the parents of two sons London and Roman, and a daughter Mychal.

Pepe was a good guy that never really got the credit he was due. It didn't hurt that he had Big OP blowing open holes for him though.

I have no doubt he'll put his heart and soul into coaching. I hope he does well.

As for Eddie, fahgetaboutit.
