They haven't even started working on it yet...I'd say Iowa will be the EARLIEST it will be open, its just a shell right now...It took the other retaurants around a month to go from shell to finished, but Eddie's place seems much bigger and hasn't been touched, they still need to do all the construction, find a staff, and all that jazz

Wow, I just watched it as well and I didn't see this post until after I had finished watching it. Kinda glad somebody is talking about it. That was one of the best hour of television any Ohio State fan could spend. The struggles Eddie had to go through in his early years really seemed to make it easier (not that it was easy) for him to overcome his battles here at Ohio State. I can only imagine being an underclassman at such a huge program and getting the ball like that then fumbling and losing all the support of the fans. He is with out a doubt one of the toughest guys I've ever heard of. It kinda makes me think now, which one of these young guys that may be struggling here and there and we as fans get on them, could one day be the next savior of our program. It makes me wanna keep the faith in our guys. When they showed Eddie getting his number retired at the end, he's standing in the middle of the field crying..it just really gave me chills. The man is a legend.

Yeah I walked by last night and it is still completely in the construction phase on the inside. After that they'll still have all the interior designing to do so I don't know...

I am sure that phase is done.
Construction docs are finished before bidding even takes place (for the most part at least).
It probably got held up in permitting or something, it was supposed to be open by football season...

RB Eddie George (official thread)

Did not see anybody else post about this.

Did anybody else notice Eddie George on the sidelines during The Game? He was jumping up and down and high-fiving TS and others after good plays. This guy is just a great embassador for tOSU & I thought it was cool to see him there. Just goes to show how great this game, this rivalry, and this University really are!
