Illinois, Michigan State, and Boston College have offered. Indiana is reportedly close to offering as well. Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, Miami(FL), Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Notre Dame, and USC are schools he is interested in. Will attend camp at tOSU.

If it is OSU look for him to possibly commit. I know that he wants to go to Ohio State is leaning toward the Buckeyeys right now.

Michigan is the school that is about to offer to Dan Herron. He will probably get that offer this week.

I think when Michigan offers we may counter that offer with a buckeye offer. We did the same thing with Mario manigham. Michigan offered first then Ohio State offered.

That seems to happen more often with kids in-state than out-of-state. Take Larimore for example...we offer and two days later Michigan offers. Historically it seems to be the reverse when it comes to kids in Ohio, so you very well may be right about this.

Or we could let him go to michigan, b/c they also have a rb in lansing they are suppossedly after and that would put us in the lead for Saine.

I dont know if I would go that far. I want the best possible players in the S&G, and if Herron is one of the best in the State I want him to be a Buck. I just hope we dont lose both to other schools. I really do not think the staff would be hopeful of a scenario like this. They will offer the guys who they see fitting their system, and if Herron is one of those guys he will get an offer.
Fwiw I think the only films out there on Herron right now are his Soph. films.
