Good for El Guapo. He never really took off in SF for a variety of reasons...poor offensive lines, 4 head coaches in 4 years, injuries. If he would have had the opportunity to run behind the lines the Niners had from 2011-13, I'm convinced he would have been a star.

And that's why you don't waste the #1 (or #4) pick on Barkley. You're getting a really steady, experienced tailback for peanuts with almost no long term commitment if he is a bust (mileage wise).
Meanwhile you have to pay $30 million a year for Cousins. Draft a QB and a stellar defender.

My preference would be Rosen and Fitzpatrick....Now that they have Taylor that means time to actually get a young QB ready instead of forcing them into starting day 1.
