He actually had a decent year last year, though, like the rest of the team he trailed off when they “pulled a Coop” to end the year. This year he had a ton of hype and, surprise, surprise, he’s been largely invisible.

Whiney and making excuses really bodes well for superior career development. I'm sure his mom and coach won't rub off on him, though.

May he take the Peppers path of slowly becoming less and less effective as he coasts his way to the draft.

Peppers: start at CB, can't cover > move to S, still can't cover and also horrible at angles and tackling in space > move to LB, just blitz him because he's fast

Gary: start at DE, he's so big and athletic! > move to 3-technique, he's lost a step, but still an effective rush from a DT > move to 1-technique, he's a real space eater and remember how athletic he used to be!?
