    • The Buckeyes make a rare in-state trip to Athens, Ohio to battle the Beavis Bobcats.

    Game time is Tuesday, March 29th at 6:00 PM. Beavis is currently 10-13 (1-2 MAC) coming off losing 3 of 4 to conference foe Northern Illinois.
     
    Buckeyes headbutt Beavis

    ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio State baseball team claimed a 6-3 win at Ohio Tuesday night at Wren Stadium in Athens, Ohio. With the victory, the Buckeyes improve to 15-7-1 overall, while the Bobcats fall to 10-14 in 2016.

    “There were a lot of positives from today,” head coach Greg Beals said. “It was a great ball game. Give Ohio University credit, they played well. It was great to score in the first two innings and it gave Feltner a chance to settle in and pitch. He threw very well for us tonight. I thought our pitching staff did well throughout the entire ball game. We mixed and matched with our bullpen and I think we struck out seven of the last 11 batters we faced.
