Rankings at the end of the season.

i was wondering what the other top 10 teams had on the schedule for the rest of the season and came to the following conclussion.

tOSU can still get into the NC game, but in all reality will/can end the season in the top 5, which for any season is a great achievement.

In all reality we have 2 "big games" left, a very down (quality wise) michigan and am Iowa with a dizzy QB.

USC is ranked 1 and unless they beat themselves will likely not lose.

Texas is 2 and unless they loose to Oklahoma, they should have a clear path to the Big 12 championship game.

As for the rest....
LSU plays: Tenn, Florida and the SEC Championship
Tenn plays: Florida, LSU, Georgia, ND and the SEC Championship
Florida plays: Tenn, LSU, Georgia and FSU and an SEC championship
Georgia plays: Tenn, Florida and an SEC Championship
FSU just has Florida left
Va. Tech plays: Miami and 3 other top 25 ranked teams.

SO you would have to think that of the 8 teams ahead of us, only Texas and USC have a "clean" shedule.

i dont think this lose in week 2 of the season to the number 2 team in the country kills our season, and i think we will still end up better than most others.
just my thoughts....

first off great post...i couldnt agree with you more..

we still have a VERY good chance of getting back in the top 5..i think if we beat Iowa and Michigan by atleast 14 points each game, and win the rest of the games with a good punch, we should be fine..

it will be an interesting season..

I'm going to root against USC and Louisville even more than I'll root against scUM. I think I'll root for Texas (it would be just sad if they lose to Oklahoma, again). I'm still hoping to see Texas-Ohio State in the Rose Bowl.

one team that everyone keeps forgetting is Louisville, they are now in a bcs confrence and have a good shot at going undefeated. Whether they deserve it or not, they will be ranked high

I am sorry, but if it comes down to us and Louisville(undefeated) to play Texas in the Rose Bowl and they choose Louisville I am sure there will be people ready to go ape shit.

They don't have a top 25 team on their schedule as of now. Our only lose would of been to Texas by a matter of inches early in the season no less.

I agree, I was just throwing out a team that has a legit shot at a bcs bowl and at going undefeated

Way off topic, but I'd like to say us Buckeye fans would appreciate it if you stick around a bit :)...

I think we have a great shot at being top 5 if we run the table...we lost a tight game to an amazing team that is getting the recognition it deserves and we have a moderately difficult schedule remaining...we do need to make some statements in games though, or we will be leaped without a doubt
