Correct on the first two. The "blue hole" is a hot-water pond charged with Silica from some remote location in Iceland.

I've been to the Silica Pond and several other sites in Iceland. That area around the pond isn't very stable.

If you're ever looking for a vacation spot that's very different, do the cross country bike ride in Iceland. Absolutely spectacular.

Visit Geysir, Svartifoss, Gullfoss and Barnafoss.
