ahhh... reminds me of the Goodyear datacenter in late 70s... we had 4 IBM 360 mainframes.. each with the memory and operating power just slightly less than your average watch today... and they were $5 million each...
I was the first programmer who was permitted to use 256K region because I wrote the most critical systems Goodyear had... funny... my DP peers were so jealous

You remember calling down to the guys in the tape room to have different tapes mounted… and when they picked up the phone you could smell the smoke and the call always started with a cough and clearing of the throat and then a hello?

Those were the days.
