ok i have this picture that i really want as my avatar but its just slightly larger than the maximum size. So then i made it smaller and took a screen-shot of it in a smaller version but then it wasnt in the right format (pdf). is there any way i can get this fixed or someone who could help me out, or will i just have to keep searching and searching for a picture the right size. thanks.
 
yeahhhh well i mean i opened it up in an appleworks document and made it smaller by dragging the corner up but every which way i try to save it or whatever it always gives me the "it is not a valid GIF, JPG, or PNG extension" and when i type in the right extension on the file name it still says the same thing. thanks once again for any help you can give.

If it's a PDF, you should be able to open it in Adobe Acrobat, then go to FILE: EXPORT and export the file as any kind of graphic. Tif, Jpg, Gif, etc. Then you can edit it in any image program.

All of a sudden I can't figure out how to change the text next to my avatar. I wanted to get rid of that reference to Irish because the game is over. I tried changing avatars and then changing back. It got rid of the old text and replaced it with "Moderator", which is now listed twice. Help?

Yes. When I look at your profile under the 'custom user title' it says "No". I've changed it to "Yes, user set" a couple times but it keeps going back. Try it one more time. I can change it for you for now until we can figure out what's wrong.

Unclick the reset box if you haven't inside the user cp

Clicking the Reset Fields button does nothing at all. I still don't have Custom User Title on my Edit Profile page.

Considering my current dilemma, how about changing my user title to "Needs training wheels". That would seem to be pretty appropriate.

That's strange. I have no explanation for that. If you can see that reset box that needs to be unchecked to enter your own custom user title.

:lol: I'll change it to whatever you want, just let me know. Maybe someone else like 3yards can figure out exactly what's wrong.
