My wife had a hysterectomy last month. She had it done at the Ohio State University Hospital and spent only 2 nights in the hospital. Also, the doctors were afilliated with Ohio State. The providers billed as folllows:
Surgeon.........................$2,500.00
Anesthesiologist..............$1,785.00
Hospital........................$26,324.40
Pathology lab tests.............$366.00

After submitting all the bills to our insurance company; how much of the $30,975.40 do you think the 4 providers (total) actually got paid? Note: This is the amount the insurance company allowed for the services (i. e. the amount they paid plus our co-payment).
