Question about watching games Online

So here's a question for you guys and please I'm open for all suggestions here. We are moving here shortly and what my wife and I noticed is we just do not watch TV at all. In fact we watch Netflix and not much else as we wind down at night getting ready for bed. Anyways, the question is as follows.

I am not willing to miss any buckeye action (obviously) but I do not feel like buying over 100 dollars worth of cable every month to watch 1 game every week. The question I have is can you watch all the buckeye games online? If so how much are they to purchase, how are the quality, and are all the games available? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I cut the cord over a year ago. Found myself doing the same thing, watching Netflix more than regular cable. I do live in an area where I get great OTA reception for all the major networks, so when the games are on the major networks I can watch them like normal.

If the games are going to be on ESPN, I have a friend who signed me up to be one of her four users on her cable account so that I can stream directly from the cable service.

On the times that games are on the BTN, I usually can find a free stream online that is stable. There are a few posters that will link the good hyperlinks to those streams in the game day threads.

Sports are the last thread holding together the TV dynasty, as no one watches live TV any longer. As such, no one is going to provide easy access to sports without a subscription.

Non cable networks are available over the air in many areas. If you have a good signal, the quality may actually be better than cable or satellite, which are compressed.

Online streams are illegal and rife with malware and viruses.

You can borrow access to certain programming, like ESPN, by borrowing a friend's cable account.

You can get BTN via web browser. You cannot get it on streaming devices, even if you are a paying TV customer. You could build an HTPC and stream to your home TV with that.

We rarely watch TV as well and use Hulu, Netflix and our Plex server to watch old movies.

Get an apple tv, roku, or Amazon Fire TV to stream from the watch ESPN app. You can also mirror the BTN app from Apple devices to Apple TV so you can watch on the big screen. Not sure about the others. The rest of the games you can get over the air in HD. Costs some money up front, but you'll recoup that in 1-2 months quickly by not having a bill.

Of course this depends on getting someone to share their cable login with you. Give your brother or best friend $50 and fire it up.

Thank you guys for all the responses. Just a question... (btw just watched the Sugar bowl game and we won again!)

If you don't watch a lot of live television (like none) but religiously watch our bucks would you recommend I spend the money and get Comcast or something or would you just find a way on game day?

GO BUCKS BABY! after watching this I cannot believe what we have returning this next year!!!! We are in for a special ride boys
