Question about parking areas

My brother and I are coming down Friday night and will get into Columbus around midnight. I was thinking about parking my truck and sleeping on an air matress in the bed. So I guess my first question would be, can I get into the parking areas the night before. My second would be, if I sleep in the bed will I get in trouble? Another question might be about how safe it would be to do so.

If you could stay in the lots overnight, you'd have one helluva campfire setup! I'm pretty sure camping out isn't allowed.

You could park in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn down the street, or Kroger, or whatever.... but I wouldn't sleep in the back of an open pickup. I'd rather sleep under it, actually.

Theres a nice location in the Miller-Kelton area that would be very safe to sleep in the back of your pick-up.

OK, scratch that idea. "Oi Vay" says alot coming from scooter. It was just an idea anyway. Obviously not a good one. I'm just a little nervous about how many people are going to be there.
