Ah, you're right, thought it was the year before. BummerBurrow actually deserved it, Fields just picked the wrong year to be in the running.
I still think there needs to be another category for passes that hit their target but are tipped up in the air for an interception. In this case, it wasn't the quarterback or receiver's fault since the ref was more concerned about seeing if the defensive player stayed in bounds than calling interference. If I remember correctly, the interception was one where the receiver didn't catch it, and the defender caught the rebound.
Fields held the ball too damn long and passed up the right play big game hunting. He was a freak athlete and a competitor can throw a hell of balll but as a QB give me the guy who makes the right play more often then not.
Recency bias but not in the same way you are thinking. Watched too much fields in the NFL and noticed he has some of the same issues he had in college but way worse. Aka is he is the epitome of a see it throw it QB vs CJ's anticipation. The difference is we regularly had people wide ass open from the wealth of wide receivers we had so not as much as an issue and now he hesitates on things he see's open not trusting his eyes in addition to that making it worse.I think you're suffering from recency bias. Will also threw an awful pick-6 vs PSU and essentially a pick-6 vs scUM. Justin protected the ball much better, outside of a strange B1G CCG vs Northwestern.
Nvm, I see it's already been covered lol
