QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

A good fit for him. Hue Jackson is a solid Coach.

Campbell, Boller and Trent Edwards all have shown to be journeymen QB's and not franchise caliber. Depending on what they plan to do with TP position wise, Boller or Edwards will probably get cut.

I bet they put Jordan La Secla (rookie FA QB) on the practice squad or have him third string until TP is off suspension.

It's a team that loves speed, and with McFadden, Jacoby Ford and Heyward-Bey, it just adds one more player to the arsenal.

I think they'll just look to get him on the field and see what happens...

Congrats to Terrelle!

Totally agree on most parts. I could see them keeping edwards around this year. If they want to develop Pryor as a QB it will take at least a year and he is only going to see spot play this year, then next year you can move forward with him.

Campbell is your starter, then you have two credible back ups... I don't think there is a need to keep both, I'm sure they don't come cheap. They'll also need to use a roster spot on TP, cause they sure as heck won't put him on the practice squad. So, where does that come from out of the 53? I think their approach is just to get him on the field. He'll probably play some WR, some wildcat and then some QB downs. If he gets the team moving when he's a QB, and Campbell can't get the job done, then maybe a an opprotunity will open up.

I think allot of it depends on how much those backups are making. I am sure Edwards is not making allot, but someone that has starting experience. I know Pryors suspension is a little different than most in the NFL. He is not allowed to play or practice with the team during the week, but he is allowed to practice and work out at the teams facility which is not what most suspended players are allowed

Glad to see he was picked up by a team. Good luck to him, and I look forward to seeing him on the field in whatever capacity soon.

One thing that has bugged the crap out of me in this whole ordeal (not counting the Ohio State stuff) is the continual "He is not an NFL QB" crap that many talking heads keep spouting. If that is the case then why was the #1 overall pick in this past draft the exact same type of player who happened to play the QB spot in college as well? Whatever.

Again, good luck Terrelle. I hope you make the most out of this opportunity.
