QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

  • Can hurt defenses with his legs as well as his arm
I am not anointing the guy touchdown Jesus educated fans have to be impressed with his potential. I am not sure where he goes from here. I am sure he will lay an egg at some point but I am optimistic this kid will be something special.

Also lost in the comparison is that Zwick took over an offense with no running game support and a WR depth chart that usually had Holmes, Childress, and Hall on the field.

Smith took over an offense with Pittman breaking through to carry the rock and a WR corp that was establishing itself with Holmes, Ginn, and Gonzo.

Pryor is in a FAR more favorable situation for him to learn on the job than what was handed to Zwick.

Exactly, GT is my ACC team (wife went there, good fight songs!) so I typically whatch them when they are playing. Ball was painful. We went to see GT play Boston College and all we could say was how happy we were that Ball had graduated. Ball benefited from having an all-world receiver through most of his college career. Pryor does not have that receiver at the moment, and he still looked great.

I would say that TP looked as good yesterday as Troy Smith looked toward the end of his junior year. He has the right attitude. So far so good....

Also, I think this improved passing game will also help his running. Ii just have the feeling that he is going to break at least a couple runs for big gains and TDs in the near future. His long run is only 23yds and although I had seen almost all of the games this year, I was still a bit suprised that he didn't have one that was at least 40. He'll get em though.

No doubt he'll get 'em! And if Robo weren't playing w/a bad shoulder he would have already had an 80 yd TD pass. What a debut, and humble too.

I believe that he now knows full well his skill set will be much better developed for the NFL under JT and staff than it would have been any other place he considered...and he's glad he came, and he's now letting the world know...and that's a good thing. (And what a top notch class act Todd Boeckman is!!!)

pryor also has a much better d than zwick had at the begining of the year in 04 as well.

Yeah I agree. Still, things like freshman QBs never winning the GAME are ment to be broken sometime. I think Terrelle certainly has the talent to break this streak.

Yeah, I went to convocation today and saw that, too.

On the other hand, I have a picture with John Glenn, Archie Griffin, and Terrelle Pryor in the same frame together. Not zoomed very well, but they're all there!

I'm not sure a more truthful statement has been uttered.

Just thinking about Reggie Ball makes me appreciate Calvin Johnson that much more.

Anyway, hope his wrist will be okay. When you flick it as many times as he did for TD passes it's bound to get sore. :wink:

To show you what kind of unreal poise this kid has, did anyone notice that one time he spun the football in his right hand while rolling out to the right, as if he were going through a Monday morning practice drill? This kid is the real shiznit...
