QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Oh no, he plays Tetris, that is a little passive for the next great tOSU QB (could not find the finger crossed emoticon) The coaches will have to introduce him to Doom or Halo.

On a serious note, after watching VY on Monday night, I really hope TP becomes a Buckeye. The ability of a quarterback to have the threat to run puts so much more pressure on opposing defenses. I would think that it also would allow them to remain a threat in less than stellar weather conditions:tongue2:

By Farrell...recap and photos of the Jeanette/Aliquippa game. Pryor talks about his schools of interest, his talents on the field, the Internet criticism (must visit BP) and about playing against Jonathan Baldwin.

Thanks Script, the wife finally relented and Directtv is coming next week:biggrin: Alas that will be too late to see TP play Friday night, maybe whichever regional sports network which is showing it will rerun it. I saw the game that espin showed earlier this year and although still raw, Terrelle has tons of potential (boy is that a bold statement) I honestly cannot remember when I was last this excited about a potential recruit

Good point about TG jr, but I sort of expected him to play CB at tOSU. He would have been a shut down corner and would have helped our defense, but would not have made quite as an exciting contribution as it turns out he did. Besides if TP comes here and plays QB, he'll touch the ball a bunch and I can't help but think back to some of the things that VY did against us and USCum.

Terrelle Pryor

School: Jeannette
Position: QB-DB
Class: Senior
? The skinny: Some scouting services rank him the No. 1 player in the country. Has 2,590 yards offense, rushing for 1,266 yards yards on 91 attempts (13.9 average), and completing 58 of 88 passes for 1,324 yards and 15 touchdowns. Also has scored 26 TDs. In two years, he has 5,998 yards offense (2,942 rushing and 3,056 passing). On defense this season, has 34 tackles, four sacks, three interceptions.

? College: Recruited by schools across the country, Pryor has narrowed his list to Ohio State, West Virginia, Penn State, Florida, Tennessee and Texas.

? If you won a million dollars, what would you buy first? My mom and dad a car, myself one and a couple more pair of shoes.

? What is on your ringtone? I keep it on vibrate so I can hide it in school.

? Other than a parent, who has been a role model to you? Charlie Batch [Steelers quarterback]. Just for what he does away from the field. And he's so patient, waiting for his turn to play.

? If you can't be an athlete in the future, you will be ... A secret agent.

? Three words to describe yourself: Tall, laid-back and a winner.

? People might be surprised to know that you ... Had a 3.4 grade-average the first nine weeks.

? What question do you wish we would've asked? None. I'll answer anything.

Looks like Pryor is already getting his wardrobe in line with some scarlet and grey. Looks good in it, I think he should stick with those colors.

I think we've reached the point in this thread where someone needs to go back and write a synopsis of everything that's been discussed up to this point. The times we laughed; the times we cried. It's been a long ride my friends. It's time to reminisce.
