Jeannette quarterback Terrelle Pryor has prioritized the six schools remaining on his list of college choices, but he said Tuesday that could change before he finally commits next February.
Pryor said he's only considering Ohio State, West Virginia, Florida, Penn State, Tennessee and Texas -- in that order.
What does it mean?
Maybe nothing.
"There is still a lot more recruiting to go," Pryor said. "I'm still doing my research and getting to know the coach and getting a feel for the programs."
Pryor recently was quoted on Rivals.com, saying Ohio State, West Virginia and Florida are in the lead.
"I wanted to get it down to five schools, but I couldn't do that just yet. But there are three that stand out the most right now," he told Rivals.com. "I'd say that Ohio State, West Virginia and Florida stick out the most, and Penn State, Tennessee and Texas are behind them."
Contacted last night, Pryor didn't deny the statement, but he downplayed its significance. He said the order is merely part of the process of him making his final decision.
"What is written, well that's life," Pryor said. "It always happens. I really haven't made an official order. I have a good feeling for all the schools."
Pryor does have an official visit with Ohio State scheduled for Nov. 2, but he will visit West Virginia later this season, he said.
