I tried to look it up back in this thread, but I remember reading within the last month or so that he was being timed in the 4.3's and 4.4's at a combine or at his team practices. He's actually that fast. I don't understand why he's not #1 with a (silver) bullet on all the recruiting websites, considering his physical and athletic abilitiesOmahaBeef;911922; said:
Can those possibly be real numbers? I find the 40 time very suspect.
(But don't get me wrong, I'll be thrilled if those are legit haha.)

Keep an eye on: Vanderbilt junior Chris Nickson, Illinois sophomore Juice Williams, Florida sophomore Tim Tebow, Virginia Tech freshman Tyrod Taylor, Jeannette (Pa.) high school senior Tyrelle Pryor.
"I'm not changing. I'm playing both," Pryor said.
Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Texas, Florida and West Virginia are some of the schools courting him for both sports -- and telling him they will allow him to play both.
Pryor already is well-built, and Reitz and Jeannette coaches marvel at his leg strength. A few weeks ago, Jeannette's players were running 40-yard dashes. Pryor ran a few times and then decided to try.
"I blinked, and he was done," Reitz said. "I looked at the stopwatch, and it was 4.3. I checked with my assistant coach, and he had the same time."
Pryor was the Post-Gazette Player of the Year in 2006 after leading Jeannette to the WPIAL Class AA title. He had 1,732 yards passing and 1,636 yards rushing.
In basketball, he averaged 20.8 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
"Any workout he could make with us this spring and summer, he was there," said Jeannette basketball coach Jim Nesser. "I just think he wants to be the best there is. That drives him. That and winning."
Pryor's recruitment is one of the hottest topics in WPIAL sports. He says he has narrowed his choices to 10, but when asked if Ohio State, West Virginia, Michigan and Penn State were his finalists, Pryor said, "That's close, but there might be a couple more."
Pryor claims he doesn't have a favorite, and he also claims no one will have a big influence on his decision.
"I won't listen to anybody. It's not their life, it's mine," Pryor said. "My dad won't even tell me what to do. The only thing I'll listen to is if someone wants to try and coach me, or teaches me in school."

TERRELLE PRYOR -- JEANNETTE QB-DB
Quarterback Terrelle Pryor did a lot with the ball last year, rushing for 1,676 yards, throwing for 1,732 and scoring 29 touchdowns, including one as a receiver. But you might see a few new twists from Pryor and his Jeannette team this season. "When you have a cannon, you have to shoot it any way you can," said Jeannette coach Ray Reitz. Pryor, a 6-foot-6, 227-pound senior quarterback-defensive back, is ranked by some scouting services as the No. 1 player in the country. Pryor will most likely be given more freedom to change plays at the line of scrimmage this season. Jeannette also can change from a winged-T to a spread formation from play to play. "He's just much more at ease and more comfortable with the offense," Reitz said. "As a sophomore, he couldn't do this. But he can now." Reitz and his staff also met with McKeesport coach George Smith in the offseason to learn more about McKeesport's vaunted triple option offense. Pryor caught on to the triple option quickly. "What people don't realize is he really is like a sponge. He takes in everything you tell him," Reitz said. "I don't know how much we'll use the triple option, but we'll have it." "We're dong a lot of different things this year," Pryor said. "It's a challenge. But the coaches have told me I have to step to the challenge." But Pryor won't be doing some different things only on offense. He plays safety, but will line up all over the field, depending on different situations. "You're going to see him used a number of different ways," Reitz said. -- By Mike White
