QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

I heard from a source close to the Jeannette program, that unless something changes Terrelle will be a buckeye and wants to play football and basketball.

Old news, but glad to have you add to the conversation. I said last week that because of some things the BPRT has been privy to we are fairly confident that OSU will land Pryor to the point that I would say it would be a mild shock if he went anywhere else.

Encouraging - but I would be more confident if "mild shocks" in recruiting were not so common.

Arguably... USC, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Florida, Texas, West Virginia... and of course tOSU.

Of those, I'd say only USC, Florida, Texas, and we have really good teams in both sports. Georgia Tech's football team is decent at best (8-5, 7-6, 7-6, 7-5, 7-5, 9-5 the last six seasons), and their basketball team was only 20-12 overall and 8-8 in conference last year. Tennessee's football program isn't quite what it once was either (5-6, 9-4 the last two years). West Virginia's football team has been excellent the last two seasons (11-1 and 11-2), but was 3-8, 9-4, 8-5, and 8-4 in Rich Rodriguez's first four seasons, so you have to wonder just a little if the last two season may have been a flash in the pan. As for WVU's basketball team, while they were 27-9 overall last year they were only 9-7 in the conference. I'm not privvy to what WVU's basketball recruiting classes for the next few years are like, but I don't think they're near what Matta's putting together.

For the factors of school proximity and the levels of both football and basketball programs, to me there's only one clear choice for Pryor and that's Ohio State.

There's a ton of athletic ability and potential he displays in that video. His passing technique needs some work. I think he was jumping as he threw on about half of the throws in that video, which is pretty surprising for a QB so tall. I'm sure it's nothing Coach Daniels can't fix, though. Would love to see him in the Scarlet & Gray!

Yea that's the long gliding strides that he takes, they look effortless but they get the job done....in one of the interview I believe TP even commented on how when he watches film he is surprised by how slow he seems to be running

Mods you can delete this if it's not appropriate.

A poster on the Scout OSU recruiting board said....

"On a rivals radio interview he said he was going to slim his list down to five soon.

So far he said the locks for the final 5 were "Ohio State, West Virginia, and Tennessee"

with tOSU being the favorite.

He also said that people who think PSU will be a lock, that he's not so sure. Also a tidbit. Said that if he had a choice between WVU or PSU, both close to home, he said WVU without hesitation."

I've not heard this info anywhere else so I'm not sure if it's valid or not. Hopefully it is.

PSU fans seem so adamant that they are a major player here and lock for his final 3, yet he says himself that the only locks are us, WV and Tennessee (where did they come from?). Anyways, it seems like a 2 horse race between us and WV, with Ohio State having a nice lead at the moment.
