QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

Oh OK, I hadn't see they were awaiting his return...of course I saw the report by ESPN which makes everything as dramatic as possible and made it seem as if he was done for good with the program

You registered zero surprise though, about ESPN's hyperbole, on hearing the full story, right? :wink2:

Pryor admits that he has noticed who each school has at the quarterback position, and while confident, he says he wants to play right away.

Well, every recruit eventually says at one time or another that they want to play right away.

But Terrelle also said the he realized if he was going to play quarterback in college that he would have to redshirt, and that he would be fine with it.

Good news on the Pryor front. Per Mike Farrell on Rivals Radio this AM...he feels that "Ohio State is the team to beat here" and "PSU appears to be fading b/c of their rural location".

Also said "WVU is a team to watch for"...

per MF, TP just did some 40s the other day "because he was getting asked so often about them" and he went 4.32, 4.35, and 4.4...hand timed, but nonetheless, that is one fast cat at 6'6" and 230.

Farrell also said TP runs track in basketball shoes and still smokes them all!

Yea I've heard Ferrell say before that Pryor leads OSU slightly over WVU at this point....bob Litchenfels of Scout.com also posted on our premium board at BlueGoldNEws.com that he likes OSU and WVU the most.

I wouldnt be shocked with either school, but I'd say he ends up at OSU. Just my opinion.

I wish I shared your confidence Holt. As I would of course love to see him head to tOSU, I can easily see him ending up WVU. It seems like the depth chart may be less crowded over there. We have all seen his remarks about playing straight away(his desire to do so) and I have recently seen some thoughts that in order to play QB he would have to redshirt. It will be interesting to see if P.White were to win the H-trophy. The two of them remind me of oneanother atleast form the limited film I've seen, and perhaps that would have some added pull.

I'm confused. I looked up "rural location" in Wikipedia and this was their entry:

Map_of_USA_WV.svg

Population of the Columbus Metro Area - 1,725,570

Population of the STATE of West Virginia - 1,808,344

I know...that statement struck me as well. I am just relaying what Farrell said. I think he was speaking more about PSU's campus and the layout - I've heard that the stadium is separated from the campus signficantly.

I've never been to Morgantown, so hard to speculate about differences between State College and M-town.

At either rate, we seem to be in good shape.

Farrell also mentioned Pryor texted him and said he was hanging w/ Brewster in Orlando (as previously discussed in this thread).

sorry guys, thats my fault....If I hear anything on this end about Pryor, which I'm sure I will. I will glady let you all know. Whichever team he picks, OSU, WVU, or Whoever, he will make a great QB.

No worries Holt. TP is ideal for that WVU offense...and that is something to worry about after VYoung's performance last season.
