their are a lot of "hard lessons" in life. but honesty and doing the right thing, in the face of punishment is the lesson he should have taught, not how to cover up, make excuse, preaching to the choir and what not... nothing to be proud of at all, imo. that being said a few bad choices dont make anyone a bad person. but it takes thousands of actions and deeds to build a reputation, and one to destroy that reputation...

Beleaguered Ohio State quarterback Terrelle Pryor has played his last game for the Buckeyes, his attorney told The Dispatch.
"In the best interest of my teammates, I have made the decision to forego my senior year of football at The Ohio State University," Pryor said in a prepared statement read by his attorney Larry James.
Asked whether Pryor -- under investigation by the NCAA and Ohio State for possible more instances of receiving improper benefits -- planned to apply for the NFL supplemental draft, James said "I think so.
"But right now we are just dealing with the situation at hand, that he has decided to move on."
Pryor is not leaving because of fans or bad publicity.MaxBuck;1935685; said:It would be a shame if true IMO. Essentially chased out of town by a bunch of too-quick-to-judge-without-knowing-the-facts "fans" who need to learn when to shut their pie-holes.

The degree to which venom has been directed at Terrelle Pryor is more befitting an axe-murderer than a somewhat self-absorbed young athlete who has made some poor, but not (so far as we know) illegal, choices.

Actually, despite Jwins' post in the TP thread, I'm blaming meat-head fans.powerlifter;1935697; said:No surprise here. TP and JT both gone now and people will blame the media.
