Wow. You just summarized and agreed with Mike Leach. Does the LA Bar Association need to know this?

They already do. Which one are you again Gator?

Mike Leach on Sirius this morning talking about how a feeding frenzy occurs with everyone wanting to scoop each other and find even more moral indignation for each increasingly minor issue. That is looking spot on. "Feeding frenzy" sounds right.

As they say....I think we're gonna need a bigger boat

Granted, TP's "I paid for my tats" tweet sort of set him back as a pillar of credibility given the way they were paid for, but the press is getting pretty petty about some of this.

Yeah, when your ridiculous local news team suddenly thinks it is necessary to devote manpower to undercover surveillance on the college QB to see what kind of car he's driving, "feeding frenzy" seems just about right (if not an understatement).

I like how some of the members of this fanbase did what ESPN, SI, etc. did. They jumped the gun and assassinated Pryor's character without any facts.

Does Pryor say stupid things? Yes. Has Pryor lost respect some from of his teammates? Yes. But this gives us no right to jump all over the kid for driving HIS car to the WHAC. People need to chill. Pryor could be gone, we don't know. But do we really want to bad mouth a kid who could very well still be repping the S&G next season?

I know lots of people wanna lay this at the feet of the "tat5", but Tress is gone because of Tress. Tressel should have reported it, but didn't. I love JT, best OSU coach to grace the sidelines IMHO. It's a shame how he went out, but I think we all need to stop the blame game, and rally around the program.

It's hard for the fanbase to respect a player whose teammates don't even respect him. He clearly has judgement issues. Always has. Him showing up to the WHAC in a Nissan 350z with temp plates from May 24 is another judgement issue. That is terrible situational awareness.. and I also have a hard time buying the poor college student/family needs financial help when his mother is paying for his 350z.

I don't blame those for holding the opposing view that you have.

The selling stuff for 'family' thing is IMO bogus. Pryor and other wanted money for thing's and displayed less then steller judgment. But that's the thing, these player's are kids. A lot of fans need to remember this. I wonder how a lot of us would be viewed, if our errors in judgement where displayed in the media limelight....

They aren't children. They are legal adults. Being in college doesn't mean you have no ability to choose between right and wrong. I'm still in college and I've managed to get through without a scholarship and money given to me every quarter by the school. I also only had one car and didn't get any tattoos, so maybe that's how I did it.

Numbers, what are your thoughts on media members following him around CBus like he's Lindsay Lohan or Paris HIlton?
