QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

e!spn. Yeah I value the opinion of the tmz of sports. :slappy:

That's an insult to tmz. Anything on ESPN other than live sports is a caliber of theater two notches below the Haunted Hayride put on by the Ocala, FL JayCees.

KC Joyner should have his head stuck on a pike solely for comparing TP to a Chicago Cub. His reason for dismissing TP's stats is because it's like calling the best player on a losing team a leader. It's a bit different when you're talking about a player who has lead his team to a conference championship in every season he's played. What a fucking joke.

Of course, this fails to acknowledge that in Week 6, most every college football players' numbers are inflated from the level of competition. Most Heisman candidates have only faced one or two real strong competitors as teams are just now entering the meat of their conference slates.

Right now, Kellen Moore is the leader in most Heisman polls. Moore accounted for less than 200 yards of total offense in his signature, prime-time performance against Virginia Tech, while TP had nearly 350 yards against Miami, Fla. Sorry, but you can't penalize Terrelle for padding his stats on EMU and Indiana, then turn around and have Kellen Moore as the #1 player in the country because of those 50 point wins over Toledo, New Mexico State, and Wyoming.

Right, but Terrelle wasn't making decisions this well last year against the cupcakes. Just comparing the first few games of the last three years he's head and shoulders above where he was. I'm not basing any of this on stats. I'm going by what I know about football and what I've seen from him this year. If he shits the bed against the meat of our schedule, I'll be fucking shocked.

Go back and watch highlights from the 2008 Wisconsin game, it is pretty shocking how much better he is now than back then.

That was the first thing I thought when I saw this.

Not just Beanie... there's some great college football players in those clips (JL, Jenkins, Hartline, Freeman... Beanie)... we're lucky fans...
