QB/WR Terrelle Pryor ('10 Rose, '11 Sugar MVP)

A sophomore, Pryor already has the measurables to romp through opponents and wow pro scouts ? he's 6-6, a few cheeseburgers over last year's 235-pound playing weight, and he owns an electronically-timed 4.33 40-yard dash, according to OSU coach Jim Tressel. That might as well be a 3.33 against some of these Big Ten defenses.

:roll1:. The rest of the article was pretty good, but the comments section. It's sad that there has to be comments for every article published on the internet. "Anonymity" does drastic things to anyone with internet access.

I just want the dude to perform well, which I think he will, improve his footwork and passing somewhat, though I don't think he needed drastic improvements, but most importantly, have fun. That's all that matters in life. Though a bronze stiff arming trophy would look good on anyone's mantle.

Terrelle is a leader on this team whether he has the title captain or not. You can see it in the way that he carries himself. These guys are going to follow him.

I think the better question is: How are the guys who are named captain going to respond to Terrelle's leadership whether in the locker room or on the field? Will they resent the fact that guys are looking to Terrelle? Because I think that's what's going to happen.

The only comments that are completely ignorant are by that domer fan. He's an obvious flamer (referring to posting style, not sexual orientation) and he sounds like a total idiot. The rest of the comments are insightful and intelligent. They might not fully support our love of TP, but they aren't completely idiotic.

Yea, captain doesn't necessarily mean the best leaders on the team. Captains are expected to set an example for everyone else in practice and off the field; they know how things are supposed to be done. On the field, they may or may not be vocal at all. Pryor will be the captain of this offense whether he has the title or not. He is taking charge of his offense. I don't doubt that for one second.

Agree. True leaders are not chosen. You either are a leader or you aren't. I have no doubt in my mind that Terrelle us one. Neither he nor the team needs to see a C next Terrelle's name to know that he is one they should be following.

Who is this Terelle Pryor anyway? Never heard of him.

Well, it's kind of a long story. He was initially going to save Michigan. Then Feagin came along and was better, so he became the savior. Now that Feagin left Michigan, that probably means Pryor is bagging groceries since he was a lot worse than Feagin in every way.
