That it would have been a pretty stupid bet, given the common knowledge about how early Pryor would play... did he want to bet you, or just call for one (pretty common around here)?

He didn't think that Pryor would come in as early in the half as I said he would. There was no doubt that Pryor would play in the first half, just how early...

Reading the scout.com article, this kid has a great head on his shoulders. Never gets full of himself and talks in a great manner. And he's right, he along with Flash, Shugarts, Adams, Posey are the future of this team.

He just looks so damn fluid when he takes off with the ball. Don't jump me () but he looked a whole hell of a lot like VY on a couple of those runs. That is one hell of a weapon we already have and he's only a true frosh and with his determination to watch film and get better, the sky is the limit.

While he was on the sidelines, he was watching every single play he could (when he wasn't signaling them in)...he wants to learn as much as he can and s totally focused on getting better. It will not surprise me to see him take over as starter by the end of the season...I'm dead serious.

I agree here after watching Pryor play well beyond his years I think he deserves more extensive action. Especially when we open up the playbook a little more, the sky is really the limit. I'd like to see us incorporate some Florida offensive plays where they motion Harvin into the backfield and Tebow can keep it hand off to Harvin or pass. Because we have the same personnel that Florida has and if they can rack up those kind of numbers in the SEC then we should be able to do the same. I think we should incorperate at least a third of the plays to that system because with our speed we could spread out defenses even more. That being said the freshman class really impressed Pryor, Posey Adams Brewster and Shugarts all played extremely well. All 3 freshmen were blowing people off the ball and Posey is a well rounded reciever that has a skill set that reminds me a lot of David Boston. But by the time the USC game has come and gone we will have a lot better answer as to who should have more of the snaps. Todd didn't impress me today. His check downs, forcing the ball and slow release still aren't that improved from last year to this year.

Agreed. His TD run was very VY like. He has the same ability to run at a good pace while keeping his center of gravity over his hips, making it possible to change direction without shifting weight. 2 or 3 defenders had a chance to wrap him up, and TP looked like he didn't even notice. After a full year in the S&C program, he's going to be unbelievable. We have seen the future, and the future is bright.

:oh:
