[sarcasm]I've heard that Shugarts is transferring to LSU and Pryor will be playing RT.[/sarcasm]xcrunner;1133416; said:Nah...

There are four problems with getting TP on the field:
#1 - Boeckman, Henton and Bauserman
#2 - Beanie, Mo, Saine, and Boom
#3 - Nicol, Ballard and Smith
#4 - Robiskie, Hartline, Small, Sanzenbacher, and on and on.
Point being that we do not have a single position of need or a single position where we do not have talented and experienced depth. Fact is, the most shallow position in terms of said experienced depth is QB.
Possible? Yes. Likely? Hell no. And why would you waste his talent that way?Tresselbeliever;1132631; said:Isn't possible for the coaching staff to design plays for Pryor to take the hand off from Henton with Wells lined up in the backfield? I think so. And that's it my man.
Taosman;1133805; said:And Pryor is already bigger than Young was going into Texas. Young was a skinny(215lbs) kid. So, Young is still a better comparison.

Young was not as built as Pryor already is. The only thing that worries me about Pryor is that during his high school career he had one more rushing yard than passing yards overall. Now we know he should be a great runner, but I'm not sold on his passing quite yet. It will be interesting to see how he develops in that area.:)
Buckeneye;1134024; said:Nobody is sold on his passing because he's not that polished yet in the pocket. Early shades of Troy trusting his legs and then to his arm, we have great coaches so that will change. However I don't see why we can't make a solid comparison to Tebow? - Aside from that game against Western Carolina as the full time QB; he was your primary ground game. Just skimming through some stats, if it wasn't a run on the goal line it was usually a one yard jump pass to Tate Casey. I think his longest throw of the season was what... 35 yards? Pretty sure that was against LSU... maybe I'm wrong but I don't see why a case can't be made for why he looks like both QB's.
