Is anyone warming up the bananas? That is when I start to get excited?

Definitely

Obviously did not mean any statement to be taken out of context and been coming to this site for years. Anyone who is a regular understands the dancing bananas are nothing but a positive with regards to joining the Buckeye Family and TBDITL reason for excitement. It is shame that it would be even be questioned especially from a Mod. Anyway nice to see them warming up!

I think he was "sayin somthin" without really saying it, because this is the Recruiting Thread you know, so language rules do apply. :wink2:

"Excited......Bananas."

Or maybe my mind is just in the gutter, but that's the way I took it.

And perhaps I've said too much.

Come to the Light Side of the Force TP, we're all rooting for ya!

Haha, I'm sure he was joking.

TP is the missing piece, folks. There's a kid in florida who helped his team win a NC recently. I can guarantee JT will be taking a page from the Florida 06 Playbook, and adding his own little twist.

If he declares elsewhere, I wish him the best of luck, even if he goes to Michigan. But going to Michigan means you finish the regular season with a big fat L. If he chooses Michigan, he better get used to that.

We would like to think that TP=TT. But, that is a huge leap and assuming that JT would use TP just like UM uses TT! Whew! :tongue2:

A more likely scenario is a TS use. Start him out with a run/pass package then ween him to read defenses more.

That seems to be what Meyer is doing with Tebow. Whereas, when Troy was finally the starter he ran the entire offense and was never brought in, save garbage time, as a freshman.

You should have just said; "Great post I agree," instead of arguing your agreement.

Smith was used on KO returns as a Freshman (Redshirt) and I think he lined up at WR a few times too, but I don't recall him taking a snap in 2003.

Edit: I think I misunderstood what you were saying....

Anyway... Glad Pryor's gonna make his decision final some time soon. (Lame attempt to get back on topic :wink2: )

Troy didn't throw a single pass in 2003. He had three rushes for 14 yards (not sure if they came from WR reverses or snaps from center), and returned five kickoffs for 83 yards. That's after not playing a down in 2002 (redshirt). I'm going to go out on a limb and say Pryor will have a few more plays than that in his first two years here.
